Seth Thomas antique clocks, from Thomaston, Connecticut, particularly wall clocks, ship's clocks and mantel clocks, are treasured by clock collectors and antique lovers who value craft and sophistication.

The Seth Thomas Clock Company was founded, in 1813, by Seth Thomas who began manufacturing clocks in Plymouth Hollow, Connecticut. As an American clockmaker and pioneer of mass clock production Seth Thomas and his company became the most collectible and prestigious clocks in America. Plymouth Hollow incorporated and renamed the town to Thomaston, in 1875, in Thomas's memory.

We know that your Seth Thomas clock is important to you and understand that the sentimental value more often than not outweighs the monetary value. Our expert clockmakers strive to make sure your clock can be worn for many years to come.

Not only can we take preemptive measures to keep your clock running for a long time, but we can restore clocks that have seen better days. We are willing to hunt for rare parts. We have done many repairs that others have given up on. No job is too big or too small and we can do any repair on any clock. Our repairs can be as simple as a tune up, and can be as complicated as a rebuild, movement clean and overhaul and even a complete restoration.

We have a simple process for mailing your clock to us, our estimates are free. Once your clock is received and has been examined, you will receive a phone call with the diagnosis and the cost of the repair.

On your approval, you will be asked to provide a credit card number. If you do not want your clock repaired at that time your clock will be returned to you. You are responsible to provide a credit card for costs related to shipping and handling back to you.

I am so happy with how my Seth Thomas clock turned out! Thanks to Times Ticking I learned that I inherited a priceless 200+ year-old wall clock (with wood gears), and also thanks to Times Ticking I am able to use it to keep time in my office and enjoy hearing the warm “tick tock” while I work. Effective communication, exemplary care with my antique, and reasonable pricing.

My Seth Thomas clock is a family heirloom – it was given to my grandfather in the 1950’s as a recognition for his community service. It fell from my fireplace mantel and was damaged.

I was fortunate to find Times Ticking on the Internet. They did a wonderful job repairing and restoring my clock which now sits proudly on my mantel again.

I could not be more pleased with the quality of work and the helpfulness offered at every point in the process. This is truly a professional organization which I highly recommend to anyone needing their services.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fenton Harris
My parents own a schoolhouse circa 1870’s that I had cleaned for their 60th anniversary. The job was done on time at the exact price quoted, I would trust no one else with my clocks. The staff was very friendly and communicated with me when the job was complete. Thanks for the great work!! I’ll be back for sure.

Total web transaction, found with a search engine for my seemingly rare Lopex III.
Prompt replies, good price, swift shipping. More like a big e-tailer in response and fulfillment than a locally owned small business.

I had several issues with my Bulova mechanical watch, including running too fast. They not only fixed it, but it is
better than when I bought it new. Amazing! And the only place I recommend for service.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kent Bolin
Outstanding in every way.  TT exceeded all of my expectations…and my old watch is working like new

I never believed in miracles until the day I got my watch back. I never thought I would see it working again, but they made it happen. I am extremely happy with the work they did, and I definitely appreciate all the research they did to make this small miracle happen.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Casey Howard
Our old Seth Thomas clock was destined to be passed down to another generation (4th) not working. Thanks to TT for giving it life and a future. They had to totally dismantle it, redo bushings and replace some parts.
What a job well done, and a lot of work! Great communicators as well as doing follow up to make sure that all is well. Thank you all at Times Ticking.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brian Rudnicki
Very satisfied with my experience.  My favorite watch is now back running and working perfectly.  I was a little leary as we are in GA and they are not but they were very timely and easy to communicate with so it all worked out great.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ellen Hymes
I was thrilled that they were able to repair and clean up a watch that I had inherited from my mother.  It looks great and works great.  The service was fast.  The person who called me about the watch was
very friendly and seemed grateful for my business.  I would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them again if the need arises.  So refreshing to receive such good customer service these days!

I highly recommend Times Ticking for watch repair.  Jesse & crew know their stuff and even take the time to talk with you.  They communicate very friendly/professionally and most of all the prices are more than fair for such craftsmen skills!  My opinion: They are like the American Restoration of watches.
